Service Policy:
Vaccination Requirements: All pets must have up-to-date vaccinations (such as rabies) to be eligible for grooming services. Proof of vaccination and current veterinarian information may be requested.
Health of Senior or Ill Pets: Grooming can be stressful for older pets or those with medical conditions. If any medical issue arises during the grooming process, we will notify you immediately. This policy gives Lavish Licks permission to seek veterinary treatment in case of an emergency, at the owner’s expense, if deemed necessary.
Safety Precautions and Accidents: Grooming tools are sharp, and despite our best efforts, accidents such as cuts or scratches can happen. If the grooming session becomes unsafe due to the pet’s behavior, we reserve the right to stop the session. The full service amount may still be charged depending on the progress.
Matted Pets: Severely matted pets may require shaving, which will change their appearance. Lavish Licks is not liable for any health issues that may arise after removing mats.
Photography Permission: Lavish Licks reserves the right to take and use photos of your pet for marketing purposes on social media, the website, or advertisements.
Payment Terms: Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, credit cards, Venmo, Zelle, or Cash App. A 4% processing fee may apply for card payments. Returned checks will incur a $25 fee.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations: Cancellations and reschedules must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, the service deposit will be retained as a late cancellation fee.
No-Shows: If the client is not present at the scheduled time and fails to cancel or reschedule, a “no-show” fee of 50% of the grooming cost will be charged.
